Experience

Managing director, nudge4 solutions lab

February 2017 - Present

The Nudge4 Solutions Lab develops scalable solutions in education and public policy by leveraging behavioral insights, data science, and interactive technologies. The solutions lab brings together faculty, staff, and students across the University of Virginia and builds sustained partnerships with schools, agencies and organizations.

Nudge4 projects are evaluated through randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to isolate the unique impact of our interventions.

Our current focus areas are: educational inequality, chronic unemployment, criminal justice recidivism, and veterans' education. You can find out more at www.nudge4.org.

In this role, I am responsible for working with Director Ben Castleman to: manage external partnerships, support strategic planning, develop project management processes, assist project leads to launch and manage projects, monitor progress across all projects, develop tools to monitor staffing across all projects, plan and monitor lab finances, and coordinate with UVA faculty, staff, and students. I am also responsible for managing employees and research assistants.
